Bibliophiles of America, BOOKS-A-Go Go, Inc.
a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
BOOKS--A-Go Go collects used and new children's books and gives them to children from low income families. BOOKS-A-Go Go has provided tens of thousands of books to children whose families cannot afford to buy them the books they need. Kids need books to improve their literacy and develop a love of reading. Thousands of caring people have donated children's books they are no longer using to help these children. Millions of children throughout our country love books and want to read, but they do not have any books at home. BOOKS-A-Go Go wants to fix that, and is changing children's lives, one book at a time.
That's why we say, "The book you donate could change a child's life."
Bibliophiles of America, BOOKS-A-Go Go Inc. is an international 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Jacksonville Florida. BOOKS-A-Go Go has been collecting used and new children's books and giving them to children who cannot afford them. These children's books are distributed through the schools and organizations who provide services to children from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
March is BOOKS-A-Go Go Month, with our national campaign to collect used and new children's books and distribute them to children who need them. With over 100 locations, in 17 cities throughout the country collecting books, we were able to provide tens of thousands of children with books that need them across the country. BOOKS-A-Go Go partnered with DriveTime car dealerships, and thousands of people across America donated their children's books to BOOKS-A-Go Go. Over 27,000 new books were donated to our drive, and were distributed throughout the country.
If you can donate children's books, or donate dollars to help these children own a book. Please visit out DONATE NOW section of this website, contact us at BOOKSAGOGO@aol.com or call our office at 904-635-6893.
BOOKS-A-Go Go is also working on several international projects to provide books to children outside the United States that are from low income families.
BOOKS-A-Go Go will continue to supply "Draw your Dreams" packets and participate in other art projects.
" I am well aware of the positive impact that the BOOKS-A-Go Go organization has on our community and our youth. I support the mission of your organization and encourage you to keep up this very important work."
